Late at night, in a quiet university club room, two bickering seniors—Geon Ha and Gwang Min—are forced to work on an assignment together. Their petty arguments soon give way to exhaustion, and they drift off, only to wake up to a nightmare: a dead body lying inches away. Frozen in shock, the two must navigate the chaos that follows—while a half-whispered confession hangs in the air: “…Hey, don’t…” This absurd, high-stakes setup becomes the unlikely catalyst for long-buried feelings to surface. With just three short episodes, this Korean miniseries masterfully balances dark comedy, tension, and tender romance. As Geon Ha and Gwang Min fumble through panic and suspicion, their dynamic shifts from classmates to reluctant partners, forcing them to confront what they truly want—before time runs out. Short, punchy, and unexpectedly heartfelt, *Don’t Confess Next to a Corpse* proves that love can blossom even in the most macabre circumstances.

I can't believe how much emotion they packed into 12 minutes! The tension between Geon Ha and Gwang Min is electric, and the way they go from arguing to silently protecting each other is just ❤️. Yes, the ending is sudden, but that almost-confession scene lives rent-free in my head. If you're a shipper like me, don't skip this.

The concept is fun, but the execution is sloppy. Why don't they immediately check for a pulse? Why does the dead body conveniently vanish for a scene? And that ending is so abrupt it feels like the app crashed. For a crime romance, I needed at least a bit of logic. The leads have okay chemistry, but it's not enough to save the plot.

Visually, this short series is surprisingly polished. The dim club room lighting, the close-ups on trembling hands, and the color grading shift from warm to cold during the discovery scene—all very intentional. It's a masterclass in using shadows to build unease. I just wish the cinematography was matched with a longer, more complete story.

I wanted to like this, but the non-consensual touching scene (even if ambiguous) is not handled with care. It's played for shock value and then brushed aside. Also, the power imbalance between the seniors isn't addressed. For a romance, consent should be foundational. The short runtime doesn't excuse poor handling of sensitive topics.
