What happens when a humble condom becomes the unlikely narrator of a love story? In this delightfully absurd 13-minute South Korean short film, we meet Ji Hoon, a nervous young man who picks up a pack of condoms called 'Kingdom' as a gift for his boyfriend Hyun Duk. But when Hyun Duk wakes up after a night of passion, he finds himself in an unexpected place – and that's where the real fun begins. With anthropomorphic condoms and sex toys that chatter in deep, sing-song voices, 'Dom' turns a simple romantic mishap into a quirky comedy about intimacy, trust, and the things we hide. Brimming with lighthearted humor and a dash of bittersweet realism, this short film offers a fresh, playful perspective on modern relationships – just don't expect a fairy-tale ending.

I went in expecting a fluffy romance but got talking condoms and a cheating boyfriend! Still, I kinda loved how weird it was. The main guy's awkwardness felt real, and the talking toys made me laugh out loud. Just wish the ending had been happier.

I appreciate the creativity, but the short runtime means character development is nearly zero. The entire plot revolves around a condom gag that wears thin after five minutes. The infidelity twist felt tacked on for drama. It's okay for a laugh, but don't expect a coherent story.

For a low-budget short, the visual storytelling genuinely surprised me. The close-ups on the condom packaging and the playful use of voice-over give it a whimsical, almost Wes Anderson vibe. The color grading is warm and inviting. A little gem for anyone who loves experimental indie filmmaking.

I liked that the film didn't shy away from showing unhealthy relationship dynamics – the boyfriend's pressuring and the infidelity are real issues. But the comedic tone sometimes undermines the seriousness of those topics. A fun watch, but I wish there'd been a clearer message about consent.

The quirky music really made this for me! Those playful synth tunes and the way voices were pitched to sound like Korean trot singers – it's absurd and catchy. The soundtrack elevates the silly premise into something memorable. I added the background track to my playlist.
