In a quiet Korean town where nothing extraordinary ever happens, five friends—Tae Woo, Jihan, Hoo, EB, and another—navigate the messy, beautiful chaos of adolescence. This isn't your polished K-drama youth; it's raw, unfiltered, and achingly real. Each episode zooms in on a different character's day, peeling back layers of hidden struggles: a boy grappling with his sexuality in a society that refuses to talk about it, a dancer masking his ADHD with hyperactivity, a model chasing dreams while facing family neglect, and a quiet girl terrified of letting anyone in. Together, they form a scrappy found family, supporting each other through petty theft, secret parties, and the weight of parental absence. Discipline dares to show the side of Korean youth rarely seen on screen—messy, rebellious, and desperately human. With a tight 6-episode run, it delivers a punchy, emotional rollercoaster that leaves you wanting more, proving that the most important discipline is learning to love and accept your imperfect self.

I went in expecting a fluffy BL and was stunned by how raw and honest this series is. It tackles homophobia, ADHD, parental neglect, and even autism—things Korean TV almost never addresses. The found family dynamic is beautifully done, and I appreciate that the characters are flawed but never demonized. Yes, it's rough around the edges, but that's what makes it feel real. Highly recommend for anyone tired of sugar-coated youth stories.

I appreciate the ambition, but the 6-episode runtime really hurts this. Storylines feel rushed and underdeveloped—especially the gay character's arc, which gets maybe 5 minutes of screen time. The acting is uneven, and the music is forgettable. That said, the core idea of showing 'real' Korean youth is commendable. It's a decent watch if you have low expectations and want something short, but don't expect a polished masterpiece.

The music here is mostly background noise—nothing stands out, which is a shame for a drama trying to capture raw emotion. However, the dance scene with Hoo in episode 2? That had energy! If only the entire OST matched that vibe. Still, the story kept me engaged enough to finish in one afternoon. Not a musical triumph, but worth watching for the characters.

Visually, this series is intentionally 'ugly'—grainy, handheld shots, natural lighting. It's a bold choice that fits the realistic tone perfectly. The camera lingers on small, awkward moments like picking at a scab or fidgeting, which made me feel like a fly on the wall. Not conventionally beautiful, but artistically effective. If you can appreciate gritty aesthetics over polish, give it a shot.

I came for the BL tag and left slightly disappointed. The gay storyline is barely there—a few fleeting glances and one short scene. I loved the friendship between Tae-woo and Jihan, but I was craving more romantic tension. If you're looking for a proper romance, this isn't it. However, the camaraderie is sweet, and I did tear up at one emotional moment. Okay for a one-time watch, but not for serious shippers.
