In the vibrant chaos of university life, a chance encounter ignites an unexpected spark between two very different souls. Dino is notoriously hot-tempered, storming through campus with a short fuse and a guarded heart—until he locks eyes with Rak. Despite his name meaning 'Love,' Rak has endured nothing but heartbreak and disappointment, leaving him cynical and withdrawn. What starts as an accidental collision turns into an instant, magnetic connection that neither can ignore. But fate, it seems, has other plans: Rak disappears from Dino's life just as quickly as he appeared. Fueled by stubborn determination and a newfound vulnerability, Dino embarks on a relentless search across the university, determined to prove that even the most broken-hearted among us deserve a second chance at love. Based on a beloved novel, this Thai film delivers a sweet, whirlwind romance with bursts of comedic friction and tender moments, exploring whether love at first sight can survive the trials of reality.

I am absolutely melted by Dino and Rak. Their first meeting had me squealing, and the way Dino softens only for Rak is everything I want in a BL. The chase felt so genuine, not creepy at all. This is pure fluffy comfort food—I've already watched it three times!

The premise is cute, but the execution felt rushed—characters barely develop outside their initial traits, and the conflict is resolved too conveniently. Dino's hot temper disappears almost magically after he finds Rak. As a movie, it's okay for a one-time watch, but don't expect depth.

Visually, this film surprised me—the color grading leans into warm, golden tones that mirror the hopeful romance, and the university scenes are beautifully framed. The editing could be tighter in the middle act, but the close-ups on the actors' eyes really sell the love-at-first-sight vibe.

As someone who read the original novel, I was disappointed. The movie cut out all the inner monologues that made Dino's transformation believable, and Rak's backstory got reduced to a few throwaway lines. The core romance still works, but the richness of the book is missing.

I appreciate that the film avoids toxic tropes—Dino's pursuit is persistent but respectful, and Rak is allowed to set boundaries. However, the power imbalance in their first meeting (an accidental collision that Dino treats as fate) felt a bit questionable. It's a light watch, but not without room for better consent messaging.
