When university student Rak catches his boyfriend cheating with his own best friend, his world shatters. Enter Dino, the campus's notoriously blunt and possessive bad boy, who sees this as his golden opportunity. Unlike most, Dino doesn't play games—he pursues Rak with a relentless, straightforward intensity that's both refreshing and intimidating. But Rak isn't a pushover; he stands up for himself, dumps the cheater, and refuses to be rushed. As Dino waits (impatiently) for Rak to heal, their dynamic evolves from predator-prey into something unexpectedly tender. Dino's jealousy and Rak's rabbit-like cuteness clash and combust, but beneath all the chaotic comedy and over-the-top sound effects, *Dinosaur Love* explores messy boundaries, the courage to trust again, and the awkward beauty of moving on. This miniseries may not be polished, but it's packed with raw emotion, love-at-first-sight energy, and a surprisingly communicative core couple who actually talk through their problems. Just be ready for some truly wild kissing sounds.

I kept hearing about this and decided to give it a chance. What a mess. The plot jumps from one random scene to another with zero logic—Rak asks to stay over, then the next cut he's being dropped at his house. And the acting? Rak has one blank stare for the entire show. I wanted to see if there was any hidden gem here, but the pacing and continuity errors made it unwatchable. I dropped it by episode 4.

I actually had fun with this one. Sure, the plot is all over the place and the sound effects are annoying, but Dino and Rak have this weird chemistry that worked for me. Dino is possessive but he always listens when Rak says no—that's rare in BL! And Rak may look dumb but he's actually really strong-willed. I know the ratings are low, but I enjoyed their love story. The kisses were a bit much tongue though, ewww.

I wanted to like this because the leads actually communicate about boundaries—Dino respects Rak's 'no' during intimacy and Rak initiates when he's ready. That's great. But then episode 3 has an attempted rape scene that's handled horribly, with the sister claiming an apology fixes everything. The show also romanticizes Dino's stalking behavior while vilifying a side character for the same actions. Mixed messages galore. I can't recommend it.

The OST is decent—Dino's guitar playing felt real—but the background music choices are baffling. They play lighthearted cartoon sound effects during a hospital scene and a weird 'boing' every time someone falls. The kissing scenes have loud slurping noises that don't match the visuals. It's like two different shows fighting each other. The actual songs are fine, but the sound design is a disaster.

The cinematography is inconsistent—some shots are decently framed, but the lighting is flat and the color grading feels washed out. They reuse the same establishing shots over and over. And the intimate scenes? So much tongue with zero syncing to the audio. I couldn't stop staring at the awkward angles. The only visually interesting part was the snake. This needed a better director of photography.
