Imagine being at the very bottom, scraping by on odd jobs while trying to keep your family afloat. That's Sailom's reality. He's brilliant, hardworking, and invisible—until he crosses paths with Kanghan, the school's golden-boy bully who rules through fear. Their first clash is explosive: Sailom refuses to bow down, and Kanghan makes him a target. But when Kanghan witnesses Sailom's brutal home life, something shifts. What starts as a twisted game of power becomes an uneasy alliance when Sailom is forced to tutor his tormentor. Underneath Kanghan's cruel facade lies a lonely boy desperate for his father's approval, and Sailom's quiet strength begins to crack his walls. This isn't just a story about a rich bully and a poor student—it's a raw, emotional journey about two lost souls who find an anchor in each other. 'Dangerous Romance' blends searing class commentary with the classic enemies-to-lovers tension, all wrapped in a Thai high school drama that keeps you guessing. With standout performances from Perth and Chimon, the series uses its 'windmill and wind' metaphor beautifully: Kanghan (windmill) needs Sailom (wind) to turn. Will they survive the storms of debt, family secrets, and a very real danger that threatens to tear them apart? Dive in for a ride that's as tender as it is turbulent.

I came expecting gangster thrills and a dangerous romance, but those 'dangerous' moments were few and far between. The first two episodes teased a gritty world of debt collectors and guns, then it all vanished into a high school romcom. When the action finally returned in eps 10-11, it was laughably bad—no blood, no tension, and a gunshot that had zero consequences. I wanted the windmill to go full hurricane, not a gentle breeze. This show doesn't know what it wants to be.

I don't care what the haters say—Kanghan and Sailom have my whole heart! Yes, the bullying in the beginning is rough, but that makes the transformation so much sweeter. Perth and Chimon's chemistry is off the charts, especially in those quiet tutoring scenes. The 'wind needs windmill' metaphor? Melts me every time. Sure, the plot gets a bit messy, but I was grinning like an idiot through every episode. If you're a hopeless romantic like me, don't skip this one.

Let's be real: Guy and Nawa stole the show. Their tension, their banter, that knee surgery scene? I screamed. I wish the series had focused on them instead of the main couple, who felt like they were reading lines from two different scripts. The main romance had potential, but the side couple carried the emotional weight. If GMMTV ever gives GuyNawa their own series, I'll be first in line. For now, I rewatch only their scenes.

The first two episodes promised a nuanced exploration of class and power; then the writers threw logic out the window. Kanghan's 180-degree personality shift in episode 3 is inexcusable—one day he's threatening Sailom with a gun, the next he's a lovesick puppy. The romance feels rushed and unearned, with no real consequences for Kang's earlier abuse. The 'danger' elements are tacked on and nonsensical. I've seen better writing in fanfiction. This is a textbook example of wasted potential.

Visually, there are moments of brilliance—the rain-soaked confession, the dimly lit tutoring room, Perth's impeccable wardrobe. But the inconsistent lighting and poorly shot football matches pull you right out. The editing relies way too heavily on flashbacks and montages, as if they were padding runtime. Some scenes are beautifully framed, others look like they were shot on a phone. It's a mixed bag that could have been a visual feast with tighter direction.

Chimon's song 'Wind' is an absolute banger—I've had it on repeat since the series aired. The background score, however, is a mess. The comedic sound effects (boing, wah-wah) feel completely out of place, and the dramatic cues are recycled too often. There's a beautiful piano motif that plays during the tender moments that almost makes up for it. Overall, the OST is mixed: a few gems buried under questionable sound design.

I'm genuinely concerned by how this series romanticizes bullying. Kanghan physically assaults Sailom, forces non-consensual kisses, and blackmails him—yet within three episodes, we're supposed to root for them. The power dynamics are never properly addressed; Sailom's trauma is brushed aside for the sake of a cute romance. Even the student-teacher subplot (Pimfah and Napdao) crosses serious ethical lines. As a BL fan, I expect better. This isn't romance, it's a red flag parade.
