What happens when you're bound to marry someone you barely know, and the one person you're supposed to build a life with seems to want nothing to do with you? That's the emotional core of *Cutie Pie*, a Thai BL that balances high-society drama with genuine heartfelt moments. The story revolves around Kuea “Kirin” Keerati, a free-spirited musician who hides his true passions behind a mask of perfection to please his family. He’s been promised since childhood to Lian Kilen Wang, a cold, successful businessman who seems utterly indifferent to the idea of romance. But nothing is as it seems. Lian’s icy exterior hides a surprisingly caring—and possessive—side, while Kuea’s rebellious secret life as a biker and singer slowly comes to light. Alongside them, the side couple Hia Yi and Kon Diao add layers of angst and mystery, exploring trauma and unspoken guilt. The series dives deep into themes of self-acceptance, the courage to be vulnerable, and the messy but beautiful process of learning to trust. With gorgeous cinematography, a standout soundtrack (including songs performed by lead actor NuNew), and electric chemistry between the cast, *Cutie Pie* serves up a feast of romance, comedy, and drama that keeps you hooked from the first episode. While some viewers may find the power dynamics uncomfortable, the series ultimately champions the message that love flourishes when you dare to be yourself.

I totally fell for this series! Zee and NuNew have this incredible magnetic pull – every kiss, every glance feels so genuine. The soundtrack is gorgeous, and NuNew's voice is angelic. Yes, the communication is frustrating, but that’s the point! It makes their growth so satisfying. The side couple Syn and Nuer are adorable too. If you want a steamy, emotional, and visually stunning BL, give Cutie Pie a chance!

Honestly, I came for the main couple but stayed for Syn and Nuer! Their scenes were so pure and healthy – a breath of fresh air compared to the messy main romance. The production quality is top-tier, and the acting from everyone is solid. I just wish the side couple had more screen time. Still, a very enjoyable watch if you're into angsty fluff.

I wanted to love this, but the script is a mess. The same misunderstandings loop over and over – just TALK to each other! The pacing drags, and the character development is almost non-existent. Both main couples are built on control and fear, not love. The acting and music save it from a total disaster, but as a story, it's frustratingly shallow. Not for anyone who values coherent plot progression.

Visually, this is one of the most beautiful BLs I've seen. The color grading, the framing, the lighting in every scene – pure art. The way they film the intimate moments with soft focus and close-ups is breathtaking. Yes, the plot has flaws, but the cinematography alone kept me engaged. Plus, the costume design for both Lian (suits!) and Kuea (biker gear) is stunning. A feast for the eyes.

As a reader of the original novel, I was excited but ultimately disappointed. The series changed key dynamics, especially Lian's characterization – he became colder and more controlling than in the book. The cute banter and mutual respect were replaced with constant power plays. The cast does their best, but the adaptation lost the heart of the story. Watch it as a standalone, but don't expect the novel's warmth.

The OST is the star of this show! NuNew's 'My Cutie Pie' and all the covers are on repeat in my playlist. Each song perfectly captures the mood of the scene. However, the plot relies too much on the music to cover up the weak writing. Still, if you're a music lover, the soundtrack makes it worth watching. I also appreciated the beautiful piano and guitar motifs throughout.

I'm genuinely disturbed by how this series romanticizes control and fear. Lian and Yi constantly monitor, manipulate, and gaslight their partners, and it's framed as 'caring.' The age gap and childhood grooming undertones are not addressed. The one 'consent scene' is quickly undermined later. As a BL fan who values healthy relationships, this was a painful watch. The only saving grace was the friendship between Kuea and Diao, and Syn/Nuer's short moments.

Look, it's not perfect but it's entertaining. The chemistry between Zee and NuNew is off the charts, and the kiss scenes are some of the best in BL. I laughed, I cried, I swooned. If you overthink the plot holes and toxic behavior you'll hate it, but if you just let yourself get swept up in the drama and romance, it's a fun ride. The music is incredible too. Perfect for a guilty pleasure binge.
