Prem, a talented but insecure third-year culinary student, dreams of winning a prestigious cooking competition to secure his family's future. When he accidentally meets Ten, a charming and wealthy medical student with a terrible palate, an unlikely arrangement begins: Ten pays Prem to teach him how to cook. What starts as a transactional relationship soon simmers into a sweet, slow-burn romance as they navigate family expectations, school pressures, and the chaos of friends who double as matchmakers. Alongside Prem's best friends Dynamite and Samsi, and Ten's loyal crew, this Thai BL serves up a heaping plate of goofy comedy, heartwarming moments, and just the right amount of angst. Featuring beloved actors Off and Gun in a refreshing role reversal—Off's character pursues Gun's for a change—this series is a fluffy, low-stakes comfort watch that celebrates food, friendship, and finding confidence in yourself and in love.

I went in expecting nothing but fluff and got exactly what I needed. OffGun's chemistry is off the charts, and seeing Gun shyly blush while Off pursues him so sweetly melted my heart. The kissing scenes felt so natural and intense for these two. If you want a comfort show that makes you smile like an idiot, this is it.

I'm baffled at how such talented actors got stuck with this script. The humor relies on over-the-top sound effects and childish antics—I felt like I was watching a show for pre-teens. The cooking competition subplot had potential but was handled so superficially. Off and Gun carry every scene they're in, but the rest is a slog of filler and cringe.

Honestly, Dynamite and Fire stole the show for me. That slowburn of Fire coming to terms with his identity while Dynamite's goofy persistence slowly wins him over was so sweet and well-done. Their arc about parental acceptance hit home. I wish the main couple had as much depth, but the side couple made the whole series worth watching.

I appreciated how the show avoided homophobic parents and instead focused on class dynamics and self-doubt. However, Dynamite's early pursuit of Fire heavily borders on stalking and is played for laughs—that rubbed me the wrong way. The show briefly touches on sex workers' rights which was a nice surprise, but the consent issues with the secondary romance needed more critique.

The opening theme 'Baby Crush' by Fluke Nattanon is an absolute bop—I've had it on repeat for weeks. The music perfectly matches the lighthearted tone, and the sound design during cooking montages makes your mouth water. Even if the plot is thin, the audio experience elevates everything. Just listen to the OST and you'll get why I love this show.
