In the bustling heart of a Seoul corporate office, two colleagues find their carefully maintained professional boundaries tested by an unexpected spark. 'Company Romance' is a charmingly understated Korean BL web series that follows the tentative, slow-burn connection between a diligent junior employee and a mysterious senior colleague. As they navigate overdue deadlines, office politics, and late-night work sessions, their friendship subtly blossoms into something deeper, forcing them to confront their feelings amidst the photocopiers and conference rooms. With only six episodes, this short series captures the quiet thrill of stolen glances and accidental touches, offering a gentle, realistic portrayal of a workplace romance that feels both relatable and heart-fluttering. Though low-budget, it carves out a sweet niche for fans of simple, office-based love stories.

I actually really enjoyed this! It's not groundbreaking but the chemistry between the leads felt so natural. I loved their shy smiles and the way they slowly opened up to each other. A perfect little weekend watch if you're in the mood for soft office romance.

The pacing is way too slow even for a short series, and nothing really happens. The dialogue is repetitive, and the side characters are just cardboard cutouts. It's cute for a few minutes but overall feels like a wasted concept with no real story.

Visually it's very basic—mostly static shots of an office with bad lighting. The screenwriting also relies too much on close-ups of faces without any real cinematic flair. I appreciate the attempt at a slice-of-life romance, but the directing needs more polish to make it stand out.

I liked that the romance developed without any predatory behavior or power abuse. Both leads are equals, and their relationship feels mutually respectful. However, the story lacks depth in exploring workplace LGBTQ+ issues, which would have made it more meaningful.
