Shin Jae Woo has spent 15 years haunted by a single, devastating moment: the night Kang Ji Hoon, a kind-hearted university student, sacrificed his own life to save a 10-year-old Jae Woo from a kidnapping attempt. Now a young adult, Jae Woo returns to the old dormitory where Ji Hoon once lived, hoping to find closure before the building is demolished. But when he falls asleep in Ji Hoon's room, he mysteriously travels back in time to 2007—the year of the tragedy. As his 25-year-old self reconnects with the living, warm-hearted Ji Hoon, Jae Woo is given a second chance to prevent the fateful events. Yet meddling with time comes with heartbreaking consequences, and the love that blooms between them is tempered by the looming inevitability of destiny. Blending supernatural time travel with a poignant romance, *Once Again* is a beautifully melancholic Korean BL that explores whether love can truly rewrite the past—or if some bonds are meant to endure only as memories.

I am absolutely wrecked by this drama. Jae Woo and Ji Hoon's love story is so pure and tragic—I cried through the entire last episode. Moon Ji Yong's smile and tears just destroyed me. Yes, it's sad, but it's also beautiful and I wouldn't change a thing. A masterpiece of emotional storytelling.

I wanted to love this, but the plot holes kept pulling me out. Why not just call the police? Why does Jae Woo act so childish? And the time travel logic is a mess. That said, the acting is decent and the OST is lovely. It's an okay watch if you turn your brain off, but don't expect tight storytelling.

Visually, this is one of the most striking Korean BLs I've seen. The color grading shifts beautifully between the melancholic present and the warmer 2007 timeline. The dormitory lighting, the rain scenes, the slow-motion moments—every frame feels intentional. Even with its flaws, it's a treat for the eyes.

I'm a sucker for a good BL OST, and *Once Again* delivers big time. 'Time' is easily one of my favorite songs of the year—it captures the longing and heartbreak perfectly. The piano motifs that play during the emotional beats are haunting. I've been listening to the soundtrack on repeat for weeks. Worth watching just for the music!

The show tackles grief and fate earnestly, but I can't overlook the problematic consent issues. The sleeping kiss is framed as romantic, but it's unequivocally non-consensual. Combined with the uncle/nephew-like dynamic in the beginning, it made me uncomfortable. I wish the writing had handled these power imbalances with more sensitivity.
