I absolutely fell in love with Tang Heng and Li Yue Chi. Their chemistry is electrifying, and the way they slowly open up to each other despite all the pain had me sobbing. This is the kind of unconditional love I live for—raw, messy, beautiful. 10/10 will rewatch forever.

The emotional core is strong and the actors deliver, but the mystery plot has some pacing issues and a few unresolved threads that bothered me. Some psychological elements felt underdeveloped. Still, a solid drama worth watching for the romance and atmosphere. I'd give it a 7.

Visually, this series is a masterpiece. The use of dim lighting, rain sequences, and close-ups perfectly mirrors the characters' inner turmoil. Every frame is beautifully composed—sometimes the storytelling relies too heavily on mood, but I'm fine with that when it looks this good.

I appreciate that the show tackles trauma and suicide openly, but I'm uneasy about how some power dynamics are glossed over. The unconditional love message is powerful, but there are moments where the narrative romanticizes emotional dependency. Worth watching for the conversation, but handle with care.

As a fan of the web novel, I was a bit disappointed by the changes—the psychological depth is simplified and the pacing feels rushed compared to the source material. That said, the actors really capture the characters' essence, and the core romance still shines through. A good adaptation, but not perfect.
