Ton and Tawan's love seems unshakeable, but when Tawan suddenly grows cold and hires a new secretary who is perfect for Ton, their relationship begins to crack. As Ton struggles to understand the distance, a heartbreaking truth unfolds. Over the course of five emotionally charged episodes, this short Thai miniseries weaves a non-linear narrative that culminates in a devastating revelation. More than just a love triangle, Choose is a poignant tale of sacrifice, illness, and unconditional love that asks: how far would you go to protect the one you love, even if it means letting them go? With a compact runtime and stellar performances, this series delivers an emotional gut-punch that lingers long after the credits roll.

I've been waiting to see Nut again since Grey Rainbow, and he didn't disappoint. The chemistry between Ton and Tawan is so real and heartbreaking. Bring tissues – the final episode destroyed me in the best way. It's short but every minute counts.

The core story is genuinely touching, but the execution is messy. The non-linear editing feels more confusing than artistic, and the logic behind the cornea donation plan is flimsy at best. The secretary subplot also raises ethical questions that are completely ignored. Worth a watch if you can suspend disbelief.

For a low-budget miniseries, the cinematography surprised me. The use of soft lighting and close-ups during emotional scenes really amplifies the pain on the actors' faces. The color palette shifts from warm to cold as the relationship deteriorates – a nice touch. Not perfect, but visually poetic.

The final song is absolutely devastating – it’s stuck in my head for days. The soundtrack really carries the emotional weight of the story. I wish the series were longer just so I could hear more of that bittersweet music. Highly recommend for fans of melancholic OSTs.

I appreciate that this BL presents an adult relationship without fetishization or homophobia tropes. However, the secret-keeping and the way the secretary is used as a tool for Tawan's plan feel manipulative and borderline unethical. It's a story about love, but it could have handled agency better.
