After a string of heartbreaking betrayals, Akkhara (Yim) has all but given up on love. On a whim, he makes a desperate wish at a temple: 'one last try.' That's when he collides—literally—with the enigmatic Intha (Tutor), a man who seems to challenge every scar he carries. What begins as a spontaneous, chemistry-fueled encounter spirals into a whirlwind of instant intimacy, business partnerships, and messy emotions. As Akkhara tries to trust again, Intha's own guarded past and the chaotic interference of friends and exes threaten to unravel their fragile connection. Brimming with gorgeous cinematography and the magnetic pull of beloved actors Tutor & Yim, ChermChey is a visually stunning, passion-driven romp that asks whether a wish can truly rewrite a broken heart—or if some wounds run too deep.

I'll admit the plot is messy and those sound effects drive me crazy, but honestly? Tutor and Yim are just too good together. Their stares, their banter—I melted every time. I wish they'd given us the full NC scenes instead of cutting away, but their chemistry made it worth the watch for me.

The show can't decide if it's a serious drama about abuse and body dysmorphia or a slapstick comedy with horse sound effects. Every time I started to care, another unfunny joke killed the mood. The leads are talented, but the writing is so disjointed that it's a chore to get through.

I watch BL for the aesthetic, and ChermChey delivers in spades. The lighting, the framing, the color palette—it's absolutely beautiful. Even with the flawed script, I couldn't look away. A feast for the eyes that deserves recognition for its visual ambition.

Having read Nattakorn's novel, I know how beautiful and nuanced this story could be. The adaptation completely fumbled the pacing and character development—turning deep emotional beats into cheap jokes. I'm only finishing for the actors and the source material's sake.

I'm genuinely upset by how the show handles domestic violence. When Akkhara's ex hits him and someone asks 'why didn't you fight back?'—that's victim-blaming, plain and simple. The series slaps serious issues on screen and then refuses to sit with the weight of them. Disappointing.
