I am absolutely shattered in the best way. Din and Ken's love is so raw and desperate, I cried through half of it. The way they hold onto each other even when guns are pointed at them—that's real. This movie gave me everything I wanted from a BL: passion and pain intertwined.

As much as I adore the actors, the movie feels like a rushed highlight reel of a longer series. The smugglers' motivations are sketchy, and some escapes rely on pure luck. The emotional beats land, but logic takes a backseat. Still, it's an entertaining watch if you ignore the holes.

Every single frame could be a wallpaper. The lighting in the night scenes, the dappled sunlight through the forest—it's breathtaking. The director clearly loves using nature to mirror the characters' emotions. I'd watch it again just for the visual storytelling alone.

I came for the romance but stayed for the chase sequences. The fight in the bamboo grove is legitimately well-choreographed for a BL film. It's not John Wick, but it's gritty and realistic. The gunplay had me on the edge of my seat. More of this please!

The soundtrack is the unsung hero of this movie. That piano theme during the reunion scene? I'm still humming it. The songs fit the mood perfectly—melancholy yet hopeful. I've already added the OST to my playlist. It amplifies every emotion tenfold.
