Season 2 picks up with James and Ait navigating their secret relationship, hiding from management and fans while trying to work alongside each other. But the real heart of this season belongs to Marco and Bas, as their friendship deepens in the shadow of P'Tee's predatory control. Bas’s trauma, depression, and suicidal ideation are laid bare in brutally honest scenes, while Marco becomes his unlikely lifeline. The show balances a hopeful love story with a scathing critique of the BL industry’s abuses of power, sexual harassment, and the pressure on actors to conform. With a powerful performance from Michael Kiettisak as Bas, this season is a raw, emotional rollercoaster that doesn’t shy away from the darkness, but ultimately fights for healing and self-worth.

It had all the ingredients to be a powerful exposé, but the execution was a mess. The pacing is all over the place – Marco and Bas go from strangers to soulmates in a day, and Tee just walks off without consequences. The James and Ait scenes felt like filler, and the dialogue was often repetitive. The only reason I didn't drop it is Michael's acting.

I lived for Marco and Bas this season! Their story is messy and raw, but that's what makes it real. Michael's portrayal of Bas's depression and suicidal thoughts broke me, and Marco's steadfast support gave me so much hope. I cried through the last two episodes. Yes, the recovery is fast, but sometimes love is the spark that starts healing. This is my favorite BL of the year.

I appreciate the attempt to address sexual abuse and the power imbalance in the BL industry, but the show fumbles the execution. The sex scene between Marco and Bas hours after a suicide attempt is problematic – it glosses over consent and trauma. However, Bas's emotional journey and the press conference confrontation are powerful. It's a flawed but necessary conversation starter.

The music in this season is a mixed bag. The background score under Bas's breakdown scenes is hauntingly effective, but the singing sequences by the cast are cringeworthy and take you out of the emotion. The soundtrack doesn't have any standout tracks that I would listen to on repeat. It's functional but not memorable.

I’m a sucker for angst with a happy ending, and this delivered! Marco and Bas had me on the edge of my seat. The scene where Marco saves Bas and then stays with him, giving him his necklace – my heart melted. I didn’t mind the fast pacing because the chemistry was electric. James and Ait were sweet too, but Marco/Bas stole the show for me.
