Welcome to the dazzling, cutthroat world of K-pop idol training, where dreams are manufactured and rivalries are inevitable. In *Bump Up Business*, Eden (Mill) is a fiery rookie about to debut with a new boy band, fueled by ambition and a chip on his shoulder. His universe is thrown into chaos when he crosses paths with Ji Hoon (Nine), a once-popular but now 'over-the-hill' senior idol at the same agency. What begins as a tense, competitive disdain slowly unravels into an unexpected and tender connection, forcing both to confront their fears about success, identity, and love in an industry that demands perfection. Adapted from a beloved webtoon, this compact miniseries is a heartfelt, music-filled ride that blends the thrill of the stage with an emotionally charged slow-burn romance—perfect for anyone who's ever wondered what happens when two stars collide.

I am absolutely obsessed! Nine and Mill have insane chemistry—every glance, every accidental touch made my heart flutter. Yes, it's short, but it's packed with so much sweetness and longing. The ending gave me hope and I cried happy tears. If you love soft idol romance, this is for you!

I get why fans love it, but as a storyline it felt rushed and shallow. The character development jumps from dislike to love without proper buildup, and the subplot with the ex is barely explained. It's basically an extended music video—pretty, but not deep. Still, the cast did well for rookies.

The OST alone is worth the watch! I've been streaming OnlyOneOf's songs on repeat ever since. The way the music punctuates every emotional scene—especially the main theme—is just perfection. Who cares about the weak plot? The music tells the story better than words ever could!

I appreciate that this miniseries exists as a genuine LGBTQ+ story from K-pop idols, especially in a conservative industry. It's not perfect—the power dynamics between senior and junior idol could've been explored more carefully—but the fact that it normalizes queer romance for a teen audience is valuable. The kiss felt earned, if a bit awkwardly placed.

Visually, this drama is a feast. The lighting in the practice rooms, the soft-focus beach scenes, the contrast between the harsh stage and intimate rooftop moments—all beautifully shot. You can tell they had a limited budget, but the director made every frame count. A treat for the eyes, even if the script needed more work.
