I’m a sucker for childhood connections and this series delivered! Sai and Khel’s library meet-cute had me grinning, and their first kiss was everything I want from BL—passionate, nervous, real. Mack and Art’s chemistry was off the charts too. Yes, the production is cheap, but who cares when the feels are this strong? I rewatched it twice already.

I wanted to love this, but the writing is all over the place. Too many side characters come and go, the trans 'comedy' is cringe, and the finale feels like a completely different show. Sai and Khel’s conflict could have been solved in five seconds if they just talked. That said, the main actors gave it their all, and the kissing scenes are surprisingly good for a low-budget show.

I appreciate the attempt at representation, but the trans and effeminate characters are played for laughs—harmful stereotypes that haven’t aged well. Also, the romanticization of the ‘bitchy ex-girlfriend’ trope feels tired. The main couples’ love is sweet, but the show’s treatment of everyone outside that bubble left a bad taste in my mouth.

I’m a sucker for a catchy theme song and this one is stuck in my head for days! The background music during emotional scenes hits just right, even if the audio mixing is a bit rough. If you can look past the shuttery camera work and questionable side plots, the music alone makes it worth a watch for soundtrack lovers like me.

Wow, the cinematography is distractingly bad—shaky handheld shots, weird lighting, and the final episodes look like they were filmed on a phone. That said, the actors have lovely faces and some of the close-ups during romantic moments manage to capture genuine tenderness. A proper director of photography could have made this a visual treat, but as it is, it’s a rough watch for someone who values production quality.
