What happens when two people who never expected to be siblings suddenly find themselves living under the same roof—and then fall in love? *Brothers* takes the classic step-sibling romance and wraps it in a warm, surprisingly wholesome package. Prab and Chol become stepbrothers after their parents marry, but their relationship slowly deepens from awkward cohabitation to genuine affection. That’s just the beginning: the series weaves together multiple interconnected love stories among their friends, including a teacher-student dynamic that’s handled with surprising maturity, a shy baker and his determined suitor, and a chaotic triangle involving a secret frog prince. With a lighthearted tone, adorable leads, and a refreshing emphasis on open communication rather than melodramatic miscommunication, *Brothers* is a slow-burn treat for viewers who enjoy slice-of-life romance with a dash of family drama.

I went in expecting a cringefest and instead got the sweetest stepbrother romance ever. Prab's devotion to Chol made me melt, and I loved that they actually talked through their problems instead of dragging out misunderstandings for 10 episodes. The bakery couple was adorable too. Sure, the teacher subplot was weird, but they handled it better than most BLs by showing consequences. Definitely underrated!

This show commits the cardinal sin of being both boring and messy. The pacing is abysmal—half the scenes could have been cut, and the editing jumps around so badly I thought I missed episodes. The main couple's confession was literally cut from the official version, so you're left feeling like you skipped a chapter. And don't get me started on those shirtless intermission cards. Hard pass, even if you're bored.

I'm only here for Khun and Kaow, the bakery owner and his adorable suitor. Their romance had actual development, chemistry, and the best scenes in the entire series. The main stepbrother couple was cute but got very little real progression until the rushed finale. If they'd focused more on KhunKaow and less on the pointless twin-triangle, this could have been a gem. Still, I enjoyed what we got.

I appreciate that this show didn't romanticize the teacher-student dynamic—Maping clearly wasn't interested, and the teacher faced consequences. That's rare in BL and deserves credit. However, the random shirtless inserts of underage-looking actors were extremely uncomfortable and completely unnecessary. The stepbrother premise is inherently controversial, but at least the leads are similar age and the love feels genuine. A mixed bag ethically.

The OST absolutely carried this show for me. That main theme is stuck in my head weeks later—it's catchy, emotional, and perfectly fits the youthful vibe. The background music during dramatic moments was a bit too cheesy, but the songs themselves are top-tier. I ended up adding three tracks to my playlist. I just wish the production quality matched the music quality.
