I am absolutely obsessed with Ko Ho Jung and Jo Ji Min! Their bickering is hilarious and the way they look at each other melts my heart. Yes, the plot is a bit messy, but who cares when the kisses are this good? I need a season 2 ASAP—more romance, more singing, more everything!

Started strong but quickly turned into a soap opera with zero logic. How does a detective just crash a debut stage and then become a stepbrother? The homophobic parents felt like a lazy plot device. The leads have decent chemistry, but the writing is so cringey I couldn't take it seriously. It's watchable if you turn off your brain.

I appreciated that the drama didn't gloss over the harsh reality of homophobia in South Korea, especially for an idol. Kim I Jin's struggle felt painfully real. However, the power imbalance between the detective and the trainee needed more unpacking. The ending tried too hard to be open, but the social commentary was a welcome layer in a vertical series.

For a vertical drama shot on a phone, the lighting and color grading are surprisingly decent. The tight framing actually works for the intimate scenes, making you feel closeted with the characters. That said, the action sequences are a mess and the constant cuts to close-ups get dizzying. Not bad for the format, but I'd love to see these actors in a proper widescreen production.
