In the fast-paced world of corporate Korea, junior employee Kang Woo-jin finds himself bound by an unexpected contract with his cold and enigmatic senior, Han Seo-joon. Tasked with pretending to be Seo-joon's romantic partner to satisfy a family obligation, Woo-jin quickly realizes that the line between business and genuine emotion is dangerously thin. As they navigate fake dates, jealous coworkers, and secret glances, their carefully constructed arrangement begins to crack under the weight of real feelings. This four-episode miniseries delivers a compact, emotionally charged journey where a reluctant fake relationship evolves into something neither can afford to lose. With standout performances from Cho Myeong Gyun and Jung Hyun Woong, Bound Contract is a sweet and angsty rollercoaster that proves sometimes the best contracts are the ones you never wanted to sign.

I absolutely melted watching Woo-jin and Seo-joon. Their chemistry is off the charts, even in just four episodes. The fake dating trope is my weakness, and this one delivered all the sweet, awkward, and heartfelt moments I could ask for. A perfect weekend watch!

It's fine for a quick romance fix, but the plot is paper-thin. The contract reason feels forced, and the resolution comes way too easily. I expected more depth given the workplace setting. Still, the actors did their best with the material.

The lighting and framing are surprisingly polished for a short web series. The use of soft shadows during intimate scenes really sold the tension. I only wish the color palette had been bolder to match the emotional highs.

As someone who read the webtoon, I was nervous about the adaptation, but they kept the core dynamic intact. The side characters could have used more screen time, but the main couple's journey from fake to real was beautifully portrayed. A faithful and satisfying adaptation.

The power dynamics between senior and junior are handled better than many BLs, but I still felt uneasy about the initial coercion in the contract. The series does address consent later, but it skimmed over the ethical gray areas a bit too quickly for my taste.
