I absolutely melted! Marcus and Liam have such sweet, natural chemistry. Every glance and shy smile felt so real. The final scene where they finally hold hands under the moonlight gave me all the feels. This is exactly the kind of soft, heartfelt BL I crave.

The acting is charming and the setting is lovely, but the story feels a bit too predictable. We've seen the 'new kid falls for popular student council president' trope many times, and aside from the Filipino cultural touches, there isn't much that sets it apart. It's sweet but forgettable.

The visual storytelling is surprisingly polished for a short film. The soft afternoon light filtering through the classroom windows, the dreamy slow-motion of raindrops on the windowpane during their first kiss—it's all beautifully shot. The color palette leans into warm pastels that perfectly match the tender mood.

The soundtrack is what made this film for me. That original acoustic track that plays during their late-night rooftop conversation is now on repeat. The music swells at just the right moments without being overpowering. I'm so glad I found this gem—the song alone is worth the watch.

I appreciated that the film shows the internal struggle of coming out in a conservative environment, but I wish it had dedicated a bit more time to the emotional consequences. However, I was relieved that there was no forced drama or toxic tropes—the boys communicate honestly, and their consent is always clear. A positive step for Filipino BL.
