Between Us Special is a delightful, no-strings-attached gift for fans of Team and Win, the beloved couple from *Until We Meet Again*. Conceived during the pandemic as a way to keep the spirit alive while the main series was delayed, this 6-episode micro-series runs just 5 minutes each and carries a charming disclaimer: no plot, no drama, only fluff and confusion. What follows is a pure sugar rush of mundane, domestic moments — Win teasing Team about his belly, Team stealing bites of Win's popsicle, cuddling during a horror movie, and playful arguments over who's more scared. There's no overarching story to follow, only a series of vignettes that feel like deleted scenes from a private, cozier universe. The warning is sincere: if you're looking for meaningful narrative, look elsewhere. But if you want to bask in the effortless chemistry of Boun and Prem, these mini episodes are a warm hug. They capture the easy intimacy of a couple comfortable in their own space, with all the silliness, sweetness, and gentle teasing that makes a relationship feel real. Perfect as a palate cleanser or a prequel to the full *Between Us* series.

I watched this in one sitting and my heart literally grew three sizes. Every single moment is pure relationship goals — from the way Win pretends to be brave during horror movies to the way Team steals his food. Boun and Prem don't even need dialogue sometimes, their eyes say everything. If you need a quick dose of happiness, this is it.

Look, I get the disclaimer, but that doesn't excuse the complete absence of any connective tissue between scenes. It's just five-minute clips stitched together with no rhyme or reason. And while I normally love BounPrem, some of the skits feel forced — like the bed-kicking bit just to create 'comedy'. Fine as background noise, but not substantial.

I wanted to love this unreservedly, but the repeated poking of Team's belly after he said stop made me uncomfortable. Even in a fluffy setting, playful teasing should respect boundaries. The rest is harmless fun, but that scene — plus kicking him off the bed — left a sour taste. Good intentions, but I wish they'd thought twice.

As someone who read the original novel that inspired *Until We Meet Again*, I found Team here a bit too dumbed down. In the book he's socially awkward but clever; here he's almost infantile. Win's teasing is also harsher. Still, the specials have their own charm if you separate them from canon. Just don't expect novel-accuracy.

Obviously the budget is tiny — static shots, flat lighting, limited sets — but they made the most of it. The warm tones in Win's apartment give a cozy, lived-in feel, and the close-ups during the sit-up kiss are framed beautifully. It's not cinematic, but it's visually honest and fits the intimate, low-stakes vibe perfectly.
