Benjamin is at a crossroads: prove he can stand on his own two feet or move to America with his family. Enter Jimson, his childhood best friend and secret crush, who moves back into the neighborhood during the 2020 pandemic lockdown. As they reconnect under one roof—or rather, between adjacent windows—old feelings resurface. Ben has loved Jim since adolescence, but Jim has a girlfriend, Yana, and seems firmly straight. Yet the quarantine forces them into close quarters, sharing meals, late-night talks, and playful moments that blur the lines between friendship and something more. With a meddling ex-boyfriend, a caring delivery boy named Olan, and family secrets that threaten to tear them apart, Ben and Jim must navigate love, truth, and the courage to finally say what’s in their hearts. This Filipino BL captures the bittersweet beauty of second chances and the pain of loving someone who might not love you back—all set against the backdrop of a world in isolation.

I absolutely loved every second of Ben and Jim's journey! The way they looked at each other through the window, the 'wifey' nickname, the confession scene—my heart just melted. Sure, the kiss was a bit fake, but who cares? The emotional payoff was incredible. I'm diving into Season 2 right now!

The main romance is sweet, but the writing is a mess. Jim goes from straight boyfriend to loudly declaring his love for Ben in about two episodes—no exploration or struggle. And the whole 'dads had an affair' twist felt like telenovela nonsense. The side characters like Olan and Yana are treated as disposable plot devices. It's watchable but frustrating.

Visually, this series is a treat. The director uses the pandemic isolation to create beautiful framing—Ben at his window, Jim on the balcony—and the warm amber tints make everything feel like a memory. Even the CGI kiss was a bold attempt given Philippine TV censorship. The music video aesthetic in some scenes is top-notch.

I'm a sucker for a good OST, and 'Stars Align' is catchy even if it's played to death. The background score during the emotional moments really elevated the longing. I just wish they had more variety—after the fifth time hearing the same song, I started skipping. Still, it's memorable enough to stay on my playlist.

I wanted to love this, but the toxic dynamics are hard to ignore. Jim calls Ben 'wifey' constantly—it's not cute, it's possessive and gendered. And the way Jim cheats on Yana emotionally before breaking up? No accountability. Plus, the ex-boyfriend Leo is a walking red flag with no real resolution. Great performances, but the moral framing is problematic.
