When Wang Da Zhi gets dumped by his girlfriend, he impulsively moves in with his easygoing junior, Hao Chen—who happens to be gay. Da Zhi insists he's 100% straight, but his cluelessly affectionate behavior (stealing into Hao Chen's bed, reading his BL manga, and even crashing his bartending gig at a gay bar) turns their shared apartment into a hilarious battlefield of mixed signals. Through playful bickering, awkward intimacy, and a mockumentary-style investigation into his own feelings, Da Zhi slowly realizes that labels might be less important than the person who makes his heart race. This 10-episode Taiwanese web series is a fast, flirty romp that uses fourth-wall breaks and animated flourishes to deliver a refreshingly sincere story about identity, denial, and the messy, wonderful chaos of falling for your roommate.

I can't stop smiling after this series. Da Zhi's oblivious 'straight' moments had me screaming at my screen, and that forehead kiss in episode 6? Pure magic. Their chemistry is everything—messy, sweet, and so real. I need 20 more episodes of them just bickering and falling asleep in the same bed.

The comedy carries the show, but let's be honest: the 'straight guy suddenly gay' trope is worn out, and the script relies too much on misunderstandings. Episode 10 felt rushed. Still, it's only 70 minutes total, so I didn't feel cheated—just wished for more depth.

I appreciate how this series handles bisexuality without labels while also showing the awkwardness of a straight guy navigating a gay space. The mockumentary segments where Da Zhi interviews gay friends about his feelings are surprisingly thoughtful. No non-consensual moments—everything is built on mutual, clumsy respect.

For a low-budget web series, the visual style is inventive. I loved the animated thought bubbles and the way the camera plays with tight framing in the bedroom scenes. The lighting is warm and inviting, though some transitions feel choppy. A fun, creative effort that outshines many higher-budget BLs.

I was more invested in the brief ex-boyfriend subplot! That guest character brought angsty tension that the main couple's fluff sometimes lacked. Still, the leads are adorable, and the vibe is pure comfort food. Wish the side story got more screen time.
