A year after a painful farewell, Kiw is still nursing a broken heart, slowly piecing his life back together. Just as he begins to entertain the possibility of a new connection, Tankhun — the man who left without explanation — returns from abroad, carrying the same love he never let go. Their inevitable reunion is charged with unresolved emotions, especially when Tankhun discovers Kiw is no longer alone. Be Friends First Season 2 is a tender, achingly realistic second-chance romance that explores the courage it takes to trust again after heartbreak. With only 3 episodes, this Thai miniseries packs an emotional punch, focusing on quiet moments, lingering glances, and the painful beauty of rekindling a love that time and distance couldn't erase. Perfect for fans of intimate, low-angst reunions with authentic feels.

I really felt for Kiw and Tankhun. Their longing was so real — the way they couldn't stop looking at each other even after a year apart. Sure, it's short and simple, but sometimes that's all you need. The kiss scene in the rain gave me butterflies!

Honestly, nothing happens. They meet, they talk, they almost get together — then it's over. For a second season, I expected more character development or at least a real conflict. Feels like a stretched-out pilot episode.

I appreciate the emotional honesty, but Tankhun's sudden disappearance and reappearance without addressing his earlier behavior left me uneasy. Kiw deserved a clearer apology. The show treats the 'return from abroad' trope too lightly, skipping the necessary conversation about consent and trust.

The lighting is warm and cozy, very indie Thai web series vibe. I loved the soft focus during their first reunion — really sold the awkward tension. Unfortunately, the blocking in some scenes felt static, and the limited budget shows. Still, a visually pleasing watch.

The background music is sweet and melancholic — fits the mood perfectly. But there's only one track that really stands out, and it loops way too often. A stronger, more varied OST could have elevated the emotional beats. Still, I'll hum that main tune for a while.
