I loved seeing Shin and Peach again! The birthday misunderstanding felt real, and the way they worked it out was so tender. The friends were hilarious, and that final cake scene? Pure fluff. Not groundbreaking, but exactly what I needed.

This special is almost a carbon copy of every 'birthday miscommunication' plot in BL. The pacing drags with filler, and the friends suddenly acting like nothing bad ever happened is jarring. Nice visuals, but the story needed more originality.

The cinematography is gorgeous—every frame looks like a pastry ad. I loved the warm lighting and close-ups of the food. However, some background music choices felt off and broke the mood. Overall, a treat for the eyes.

The main theme is still sweet, but the added comedic sound effects were overused and annoying. I wish they'd let the scenes breathe without the silly noises. The ending song was lovely though, saved the episode for me.

I get that it's a fluffy special, but the core conflict—Peach ignoring Shin's calls and making him worry—is a red flag. I wish they'd modeled healthier communication instead of normalizing this trope. Cute visuals don't excuse the toxic undertone.
