When a gay man washes ashore on a remote Filipino island with no memory of his past, he finds himself in a wildly unexpected situation. Not only does he forget his identity, but he also loses all recollection of his sexual orientation. As he starts a new life among the tight-knit island community, he develops a sweet and confusing romance with a charming barangay lass. But as his memory slowly returns and the truth of his pre-accident life comes bubbling up, things take a hilariously chaotic turn. Blending lighthearted comedy with a tender romance, *Amnesia Love* is a uniquely Filipino take on identity, love, and second chances. It’s a fun, breezy watch that asks heartfelt questions about who we really are when everything is stripped away.

I went in not expecting much, but the chemistry between the leads was so natural and sweet! The amnesia twist made their romance feel fresh and funny. I loved the island setting—it gave everything a dreamy vibe. Definitely a hidden gem for fans of lighthearted BL.

It's a cute film, but the plot is completely predictable from the first ten minutes. The comedy lands sometimes, but the pacing drags in the middle. If you don't mind a very simple, tropey story, you'll have fun. Just don't expect anything groundbreaking.

The cinematography really surprised me—those drone shots of the beach and the warm color grading made the island feel alive. Low budget, but the director made smart choices with lighting and framing. A visually pleasant watch that elevated the otherwise straightforward story.

As a gay viewer, I appreciated that the film didn't vilify the protagonist's confusion about his sexuality after amnesia. However, the resolution felt a bit too tidy and avoided deeper questions about identity. Still, it's a harmless comedy that doesn't punch down. Worth a watch if you're in the mood for something light.

The soundtrack is surprisingly catchy! There's one indie folk song that plays during the beach scenes that immediately made me search for it. The music really complements the relaxed, comedic tone. Not a masterpiece, but the audio work is a highlight.
