I absolutely loved this! Yes, it's short and cliché, but the leads have such adorable chemistry. The way Xiao Nan softens for Tian Xiang melted my heart. Grandma's acceptance scene had me tearing up. Perfect for a cozy afternoon watch!

I get that it's a mini-series, but the editing is atrocious—scenes jump randomly, product placement kills any momentum, and the tennis is barely shown. The acting feels like a first read-through. I appreciate the effort of a small production, but I can't recommend this to anyone who values coherent storytelling.

Visually, it's not terrible—some nice wide shots and decent lighting for a low-budget show. The shower scenes are clearly fan service, but at least the cinematography tries to frame the abs nicely. However, the constant product placement (seriously, is this a drama or a commercial?) ruins the aesthetic flow. Worth a glance if you're into amateur-looking BL.

I wanted to like this more, but the rushed romance and lack of meaningful consent conversations bothered me. Xiao Nan's trauma is glossed over, and the non-con touching scene is resolved too quickly without proper discussion. On the plus side, the grandmother's eventual acceptance sends a positive message. A mixed bag that could have benefited from deeper character work.

If you go in expecting a polished masterpiece, you'll be disappointed. But as a quick, fluffy distraction, this hits the spot. The leads really tried their best with the script, and I actually felt their connection. Episode 8's tennis match was surprisingly fun. Not something I'd rewatch, but I don't regret the 90 minutes spent.
