Set against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic, '90 Days' follows Axel and Greg, two young men from different backgrounds who have been best friends for years. When their friendship blossoms into romance during quarantine, they must navigate the complexities of a secret relationship while confined to their homes. Axel is open about his sexuality, while Greg struggles with internalized shame and family expectations. Their love is tested by distance, misunderstandings, and a hidden truth that threatens to tear them apart. As they count down the days until they can finally be together, they discover that some barriers cannot be broken by love alone. This eight-episode miniseries from the Philippines bravely explores HIV stigma, queer acceptance, and the painful reality of loving someone who is not ready to love themselves. With heartfelt performances and a raw, independent spirit, '90 Days' is a bittersweet story of a love that society tried to erase.

The series had good intentions tackling HIV stigma but the execution fell flat. Pacing was rushed, dialogues felt preachy, and the ending was a letdown. Still, I appreciate the effort with such a low budget.

The audio-visual quality was painful to watch. Grainy shots, uneven audio, distracting makeup. For a pandemic production it's understandable but that doesn't make it good.

While I applaud the attempt to discuss HIV stigma and queer acceptance, the narrative relied on harmful tropes like bury your gays. The characters' decisions felt unrealistic and the messaging was muddled.

Despite the low budget and rough edges, I found Axel and Greg's love story touching. The chemistry was there even through video calls, and I cried at the end. It's not perfect but it's heartfelt.

The OST 'Pangako, Paalam' was okay but not memorable. The background music often didn't match the emotional tone. Needed more cohesive sound design.
