Great is a wealthy university student whose life is upended when he mysteriously gains the ability to see four minutes into the future. After a traumatic hit-and-run, he begins experiencing fragmented visions that seem to offer a chance to rewrite his mistakes. His path collides with Tyme, a brilliant and brooding surgeon carrying a hidden vendetta against Great's corrupt family. As their worlds intertwine, Great discovers his power is not a gift but a manifestation of a near-death experience—a dying brain's desperate attempt to confront a lifetime of guilt, lies, and lost opportunities. Blurring the line between reality and hallucination, the series unfolds as a mind-bending psychological thriller that asks: if you had four minutes to relive your worst moments, what would you change? With a non-linear narrative, morally gray characters, and an emotional gut-punch of an ending, 4Minutes is a bold, genre-defying drama that redefines what a BL series can be.

I came for the chemistry and stayed for the soul-crushing story. Great and Tyme burn up the screen, but it's the side couple Korn and Tonkla who really wrecked me – their tragic love is the emotional core. The explicit scenes are intense but never gratuitous; they reveal character pain. This is BL grown up and unafraid.

The twist that everything was a dying dream is clever, but the execution felt messy. Too many characters with too little development, and the romance between the leads felt rushed – I never bought that they were deeply in love after a week of secret hookups. The action scenes were well-shot but the pacing dragged. Not bad, but not the masterpiece everyone claims.

Visually this is the most beautiful BL I've ever seen. The color grading shifts subtly between the dream timeline and reality – once you catch it, you can't unsee it. Every shot, every mirror reflection, every clock tick is intentional. The cinematography alone deserves an award. The story is complex but rewarding if you pay attention.

Tonkla was the most tragic character and the best actor in the whole show. His raw desperation, his toxic love for Korn, his spiral into revenge – I felt every second. I just wish the writing had given him and Korn more space to breathe instead of cramming everything into eight episodes. Still, an unforgettable experience.

I appreciate the ambition and the acting talent, but I can't ignore the ethical question around one actor being 17 during explicit scenes. The power dynamics in the relationships are complex but rarely examined critically – Tyme's revenge scheme involves manipulation through sex, which is uncomfortable. A bold show, but not one I'd blindly recommend without those caveats.
