Q is a passionate but frustrated high schooler who never seems to win at anything. When he meets X, the impossibly perfect golden boy of the school, the two clash instantly at an audition. To settle their rivalry, X challenges Q to a seemingly impossible bet: win the affection of a popular girl within 21 days. But X has a secret motive—he's had a crush on Q for years. As Q dives headfirst into the bet, he finds himself spending more and more time with X, leading to awkward encounters, unexpected jealousy, and a slow-burn realization that his heart is pulling him in a completely different direction. Over the course of four tight episodes, this sweet Thai miniseries explores first love, self-discovery, and the courage to be your true self. With a refreshingly supportive family and friend group, heartfelt conversations about homophobia and acceptance, and a deeply charming leads, 21 Days Theory is a bite-sized gem that proves sometimes the best plans are the ones you never saw coming.

I absolutely adored this short series! The chemistry between Q and X was electric, and that cheek kiss scene had me squealing. It's rare to see such a sweet, unproblematic love story where both boys are openly gay and supportive. Perfect for a cozy afternoon watch!

While I appreciated the show's effort to address homophobia realistically and show a supportive family, I was uncomfortable with the manipulative '21 days' bet and X's stalking behavior being romanticized. The message about communication is great, but the methods are questionable. Still, it's a step forward in representation.

This series had potential but fell flat for me. The pacing was odd—first two episodes crawled, then the last two rushed through every conflict. The bet plot was abandoned, and too much screentime went to the forgettable het side couples. For a 4-episode show, it tried to do too much and didn't deliver a satisfying main couple development.

Visually, this was a pleasant surprise. The color grading was warm and inviting, and the camera work during the intimate scenes—especially that bathtub moment—was beautifully lit. The production value punched above its weight for a low-budget miniseries. I just wish we had more time to admire the direction.
