In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Elijah, a dedicated PNP trainee on the brink of graduation, receives an unexpected assignment: to monitor Arvin, a charming law student and part-time tour guide who has been exposed to the virus. Forced into a 14-day quarantine together in a small Manila apartment, the two young men navigate the claustrophobia of isolation, the anxiety of an invisible threat, and the slow, tender unraveling of their guarded hearts. As days pass, what begins as a clinical duty evolves into a profound companionship—late-night conversations, shared meals, and quiet moments of vulnerability. Set against the global backdrop of fear and uncertainty, this Filipino film captures the fragile beauty of human connection when the world feels like it's falling apart. With raw performances and a stripped-down setting, *14 Days* explores love, hope, and the courage to let someone in when every instinct says to keep them out.

I was completely swept away by Elijah and Arvin's quiet journey. Their first accidental hand touch made my heart race, and the way they learned to trust each other in such a small space felt so real. This is exactly the kind of tender, slow-burn love story I crave.

The concept is strong, but the pacing drags in the middle. Some scenes feel repetitive, and I wish the script had given us more reasons why these two clicked beyond proximity. Still, the performances are solid and the ending is satisfying enough.

The cinematography is surprisingly beautiful for a low-budget quarantine film. The use of natural light filtering through curtains, the cramped apartment framed as a cocoon—every shot felt intentional. The color grading shifts subtly from cold blues to warm golds as their relationship deepens. A visual treat.

I appreciate how the film handles power dynamics respectfully. Elijah is in a position of authority as a trainee officer, but he never uses that to pressure Arvin. Consent is clear in every touch and step forward. It's refreshing to see a BL that prioritizes emotional safety even in a high-stress setting.

The original score is minimal but perfectly placed—a soft acoustic guitar motif that swells during their most vulnerable moments. The ending credits song (I think it's by a local indie artist) still gives me goosebumps. Wish they'd release the full soundtrack.
